The Rayol is a natural protected site of 20ha, located on the coast between Le Lavandou and Saint-Tropez. The famous French gardener Gilles Clément designed the garden as “a travel through Mediterranean landscapes across the World”, including Canaries, California, Australia, South Africa, and Chili. The visitors experience a walk within a beautiful site while learning about the variety of plants, whether they are interested in horticulture or simply wanting an enjoyable day out!
The dedicated bilingual team of the Rayol offers a wide range of Garden theme workshops. A lot are suited for families with children. In Summer, as the Rayol is located right on the beach, the visitors can also learn more about the Mediterranean’s marine life by experiencing an underwater naturalist course (snorkeling sessions). For the 6-12 years old children, the “Foot on water” workshop is available.
