Sanary’s very ancient natural harbour, set in the heart of the town, is permanent home to around 100 heritage vessels dating back as far as 1895, plus some old Provencal fishing boats locally known as “pointu”.

Twelve professional fishermen continue to sell their day’s catch every day at the port. Don’t miss the panoramic view from the top of the tour overlooking the Mediterranean Sea!

Enjoy the savors of this large Provencal market each Wednesday, selected as the best open-air market of France in 2018. You will find good quality products, from fruits and vegetables to local olive oil and many Provençal specialties! You can also discover the original Arts and Crafts market every night in summer.
