Since 1886, the Vacherot family has been driven by a passion for tropical orchids. This tour leads you through the greenhouses where you will learn about the plant’s life cycle and how to grow this flower that can happen to be a little bit difficult. And innovation is an integral part of things here – the laboratory can create new varieties in vitro, and it works for the preservation of plant species that are threatened with extinction in their natural habitat!

Depending on the season, you will admire in the greenhouse different species with often shimmering colors and sometimes surprising scents!

1/Discovery Tour of a Greenhouse Producing Tropical Orchids

You will be able to discover all the secrets of the life of an orchid. We will teach you where these incredible plants come from, their reproductive system, the diversity of their lifestyles and above all what is the best way to take care of them. You will be able to see how repotting is practiced.

2/ Practical Discovery of Orchids at a Renowned Producer.

You will learn how to grow orchids at home in such a way as to obtain beautiful blooms. We will make you discover all the secrets of the life of an orchid and teach you where these incredible plants come from, their reproductive system, the diversity of their lifestyles. Protected by an offered pretty apron, you will practice a repotting yourself under our wise advice.

At the end of each visit you can taste our vanilla aperitif and leave with our recipe. You can buy the necessary ingredients on site.
