What is the Memorial?

Located at the top of the Mont Faron hill which dominates Toulon with an exceptional panorama of the Var coast, the memorial is equipped with the latest advances in historical research and modern technologies to immerse the visitor in the heart of the landing of Provence.

Memorial’s features

The Museum is organized with 3 thematics: The preparation of landing, the landing, and the path of victory. A series of documents and objects commemorating the liberation of southeast France by the Allies in August 1944. It also displays exhibits from soldiers in the region: British, American, Canadian, French and German. Great audiovisual show. An interactive and emotional visit which charms all publics!
