Stop at La Seyne-sur-Mer in one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. From the top of the Cap Sicié Massif (altitude 358 m) you will admire the unique panorama from the Iles d'Hyères to the Calanques de Cassis.
Through the Mediterranean forest, the scrubland and the garigue with its Provençal scents, you will reach the chapel of Notre Dame du Mai, a high place of local pilgrimage. From the heights, a line of scalloped shores, bays, creeks and steep cliffs emerges. This massif is rich in historical memories: semaphore, batteries including the remains of the one built under the orders of General Bonaparte (Napoleon) for the reconquest of the port of Toulon (1793).
You will appreciate this walk in the heart of 400 acres of forest, which offers the possibility of being always sheltered from the wind.
