 A romantic journey:

  •  Do not miss the Villa Aurélienne ! This beautiful 1889 Palladian mansion overlooks the contemplation and meditation.
    Its 24-hectare park characterized by its Mediterranean plant life is home to the beautiful remains of the Roman Aqueduct, taking you on a journey through different eras and styles of poetry.
  •  Continue this romantic journey with a visit of Notre Dame de Jerusalem Chapel also called Cocteau Chapel.
    Nestled in the heart of a pine forest, the beauty of this monument lies in its shimmering pastel colors, designed by Jean Cocteau, bringing this place a sense of peace and tranquility.

The Belle Epoque Dictrict in saint-Aygulf:

  • This area of Fréjus created in 1888 and introduced by Guy de Maupassant in his novel « Sur l’Eau », still encourages visitors today to discover the beautiful villas in their lovely green setting with stunning views over the Mediterranean sea.
    Carolus Duran took up residence here. A remarkable painter during the 19th century, to of his works are displayed in the chapel of Saint-Aygulf.
