Discovery of a Plant Nursery in the Var

Discover a Var Nursery and its Mediterranean plants

While strolling through the aisles, you will discover the many varieties of Mediterranean plants, adapted to the climate of our region.

From the succulents to the palm trees and the inevitable olive tree, we will tell you about the specificity of each of these varieties, their need for planting, their resistance and the places where these plants feel good. Many of our plants could also thrive at your place! You will also have access to our production of Cymbidium, the stem orchid that grows between October and April.

Hyères Strawberries

Depending on the period of your visit (between January and August), we can also show you our strawberry production. We produce 4 to 5 varieties of strawberries each year. Fleshy, sweet, red or orange, as many specificities depending on the variety.

What to do:

1/ Visit the plant nursery and greenhouses

• A guide, a nurseryman, will help you discover the plants and their specificities during a tour of the nursery
• Accompanied by a guide, you will visit the cymbidium greenhouse and discover a tropical climate for this exotic plant
• You will end your visit in the strawberry greenhouse with an explanation of the different varieties

2/ Repotting  workshop

• Around a potting table, we will immerse you in the heart of our horticultural profession.
• With your sleeves rolled up, we will show you how to plant a plant properly. We will guide you on the elements it needs to feel good in its new pot or in the ground and invite you to put them into practice.
