Get ready for a Taste of Provencal Traditions!

Provencal Cuture & flavors

Take a stroll through the cute village of Solliès-ville and its museums.

Solliès-ville has managed to preserve its traditions and likes to share them. The museums of the village are the best proof of this!

Enter an old mill and find yourself transported in the traditions of Provençal clothing. This Museum presents more than 200 costumes, the oldest of which dates back to 1800s!

And don’t forget the Jean Aicard Museum which highlights the writings of this great Provençal poet and writer.

Don’t miss the oldest olive grove of Provence!

Built in the 14th century, the old mill is located at the foot of the Mount Coudon, near the oldest olive grove of Provence.

Held by the same family for 4 generations, it perpetuates the tradition of sharing during the harvest of olives and welcomes the public throughout the years during free guided tours followed by a tasting of their (regularly medalist) oils and artisanal products of quality.

During these tours you’ll discover the old manufacturing technique thanks to the grinding wheel and the old press, and the modern way with the latest technology for the extraction of oil.
