Plage des Sablettes

One of the region's most beautiful sandy beaches, facing the rocks of Deux Frères.

It lies to the south of the town, just before the Saint-Mandrier peninsula, in the tourist district of Les Sablettes.

More than one kilometre long, this beach with fine white sand is a victim of its own success! There are plenty of beachside facilities and restaurants, and no shortage of beach activities in the summer: scuba diving, wind-surfing, kayaking, dinghy and sports clubs are all available.

In summer, various evening activities (night market, concerts, fireworks) are organised in the landscaped park right by the beach.
Three large car parks are available free of charge.

Located on the edge of the Sablettes beach, in the immediate vicinity of the parking lot with several PRM parking spaces, the chalet is home to the bathing facilities for the disabled and the fire department. Run by a team of lifeguards, the facility offers access to the water via a PRM mat positioned on the beach from July 1 to August 31, open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm. Wheelchairs such as tiralo, hippocampe and mobi-chair are available. Transfers from one chair to another can be made using a lift operated by the rescue team. PRM toilets are also available close to the chalet, and guide dogs are welcome on the sand and in the water, but must be kept on a leash.

Visual impairment

For the visually impaired and blind, guide lines run from the pier parking lot to the chalet. Guide dogs accompanying the visually impaired are welcome, and will be given a rinse after the swim.
