The church of Saint Louis, was built from 1772 to 1789. This neo-classical church, completed just before the French revolution, was initially a temple for the "cult of reason ans the supreme being". It's now a listed monument.
It comprises a central nave and 2 aisles separated by a double row of Doric columns. The barrel vault of the central nave is decorated with caissons. The choir is a vast rotunda topped by a sculpted coffered dome supported by 10 Corinthian columns. The choir's walnut woodwork depicts the life of St. Louis.
