The Grotte de Sainte-Marguerite at San Peyre, well sheltered from the westerly wind, remains accessible even in strong mistral winds.
Depth: 5 - 16 meters.
Scree slopes and caves are the main attractions of this rather easy dive.
The siphon in the large cave is of no interest other than to take a shortcut to the other side of the cliff, but only if there's no surf, and then you have to scramble around in the rocks. The blue grotto further west is also a local curiosity.
The arch is at -10m, and the game consists in crossing it without touching anything, as the anemones are so beautiful...
