The Sainte-Croix lake and the Galetas and the Chabassole beaches

An idyllic landscape !

The Sainte-Croix lake is the 2nd largest artificial lake of France (22 square kilometres).

The dam of Sainte-Croix was officially inaugurated in 1975. It contributes to supply a great part of the area (Marseille, Toulon...) with electricity and drinking water.

On Aiguines area, fitted beaches will allow you to enjoy swimming in emerald green water of the lake, in an absolute calm (motor boats are forbidden).

Nautical hikes (canoes, pedal or electric boats) are accessible to everybody to discover the Grand Canyon spectacular spots.

A first-aid post is opened in July and August and provides the Galetas beach with watched bathing.
