This former copper and lead mine, located in a beautiful Mediterranean site, is on the top 5 of the worldwide mineralogical sites because of the wealth of its minerals. In this mine you will discover over 600 minerals as well as the work of the diggers in the 19th and 20th centuries. The scenography is an integral part of the visit and helps to understand the story of the mine.
Tip: At Easter a special event is organized for children.

A very popular and worth-seeing site with a breathtaking view over the islands of Hyères and Toulon Bay! You might even be able to see your cruise ship if calling in La Seyne. Hiking paths are available all around the site.
Tip: Make sure to wear warm clothing even in summer as it is quite cold in the mine.
