Discover Le Lavandou

A former fishing village with 12 beaches

No less than 12 kilometers of coast and 12 sandy beaches all of different colours! Its fountain itinerary (the town is also home to 14 fountains!) is a good way to get to know the resort and appreciate its quality lifestyle and welcome.

Le Lavandou is an outstanding seaside resort. Saint-Clair beach, set at the foothills of the "Maures forest", is fondly appreciated by locals and tourists alike. For higher standing, beautiful private beaches stand along the beach-walk between the Tourist Office and the "Pointe de Gouron" site.

Also known as the city of dolphins & whales, you can book a boat excursion to observe them.

Have a nice walk alongside the 2 km (1.2 miles) "path of the painters" at Le Lavandou. Numerous reproductions of Edmond Cross and Théo Van Rysselberghe’s paintings stand along this coastal path thats leads you to the Art Museum of Le Lavandou. Le Lavandou is indeed the cradle of Neo-Impressionism art movement. Do not missed '' Villa Theo'' : Théo Van Rysselberghe's museum is worth visiting.

The coast from Bormes-les-Mimosas to Brégançon offers picture-postcard landscapes of sandy beaches and pinewoods. L’Estagnol beach is the perfect place to swim in the crystal blue waters and play a Pétanque game in the shadow of the trees!

On the top of that, wine lovers will be delighted to visit the unique vineyard "Domaine de l'Anglade", nestled in an authentic green setting by the sea, surrounded by pine forests and canes from Provence, the 40 hectares estates will surprise you with its 3 colored wines crowned with medals
